Helpful Tip: The Map

Proper use of the map can greatly increase your chances of finding rarer planets. As you fly across the galaxy, all of the discovered planets will appear on the map with their associated rarity. If you check the map often, you may be able to hunt out those rare planets that you just missed! 

The map is pannable and includes a key with the rarity types of each planet. Bosses will also appear here so you can hunt them down! Press 'p' to view the player and 'h' to show home.  The Compass on the top of your screen can also be used to locate your home in a pinch. When facing home a blue house icon will be shown in the center of the compass, indicating that you are going the right way!
