How To: Level Up

The player level feature is yet another interesting facet of this game! Level up to enjoy various rewards including ship upgrades, new weapon types, shop discounts, and more! To increase your level you must gain XP points. These points can be recovered from killed enemies or gained by completing quests. Your progress towards the next level can be seen at the top center of your screen.

Experience points come in four forms. Each form is worth a different amount of experience, the points, and their associated values can be seen below:

Standard: 1pt	Rare: 2pt	Epic: 5pt	Legendary: 10pt

Once a level is complete, you can choose a new skill from the skill tree in the menu. Each skill boosts your player in some way. Choose your skills wisely, each level is harder to earn than the least, making it very hard to progress through the whole tree. Branches blocked with a planet icon require that the depicted planet has been created in your home system, once the planet is created, the skill can be purchased. Alternatively, skill points can be directly transferred into a cool $1,000 by selecting the money skill, this is repeatable.
